What happens when a modern robot enters a space dedicated to preserving the stories of history?
On July 23, 2026, at the Ton Duc Thang Museum in Ho Chi Minh City, the program “Touching Heritage – When Technology Brings Urban Memories to Life” created a unique encounter between culture, history, technology, and the younger generation.
As part of the program, PAN Robotics introduced an interactive robot solution, adding a new technological touchpoint where students and visitors could engage directly with technology and explore its emerging possibilities within cultural spaces.
Touching Heritage – Where the Past Meets the Technology of Today
The Ton Duc Thang Museum is a memorial museum dedicated to President Ton Duc Thang. Established in 1988 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of his birth, the museum preserves, researches, and systematically presents his life and career through documents, photographs, artifacts, and exhibitions.
Beyond preserving historical values, the museum has gradually expanded the ways in which heritage can be brought closer to the public through educational and experiential activities, online exhibitions, 3D spaces, documentary films, podcasts, and other forms of communication.
This makes the Ton Duc Thang Museum a particularly meaningful setting for the story of “Touching Heritage” to unfold.
