The Hikrobot HMR HPT8-2000A belongs to the Automotive Final Assembly Line Series, developed specifically for automotive interior assembly and final assembly operations.

The robot offers high flexibility to meet requirements for vehicle model upgrades, production capacity expansion, process optimization, and route changes. It is suitable for various production models, including mixed-model assembly, AMR operation along the assembly line, continuous-motion assembly, station-based assembly, and cart transportation.

The Hikrobot HPT8-2000A has a rated payload of 2000 kg and features an electric lifting mechanism with a lifting stroke of up to 1000 mm. It supports multiple navigation methods, including guidance tape, 2D barcode, L-SLAM, and V-SLAM, allowing flexible deployment according to actual factory conditions.

With omnidirectional movement, a rated speed of 1200 mm/s, 360° laser protection, and docking accuracy of up to ±3 mm with positioning assistance, the HPT8-2000A helps synchronize the transportation of vehicle bodies, fixtures, and materials with the production rhythm of automotive assembly lines.

Robot Series for Automotive Final Assembly Lines

The Automotive Final Assembly Line Series focuses on interior assembly and final assembly operations in the automotive industry. The robots offer high flexibility to meet requirements for vehicle model upgrades, production capacity expansion, production line optimization, and changes to manufacturing routes.

The system supports flexible switching between multiple navigation methods, making it suitable for mixed-model production lines, continuous-motion assembly, station-based assembly, cart transportation, and AMR operation along assembly lines.

The robot can be customized with lifting mechanisms, work platforms, process equipment, and interlocking systems according to the requirements of different vehicle models, production processes, and actual production cycles.

Typical Applications

Automatic Vehicle Body Receiving and Positioning

The robot works with a lifting mechanism to automatically receive, lift, and position vehicle body structures at the required location on the final assembly line.

Continuous-Motion Assembly

The robot moves in synchronization with the production rhythm, allowing operators to perform assembly operations while the vehicle body continues moving along the line.

Cart Transportation Along Assembly Lines

The robot transports carts, components, tools, and materials to individual workstations, helping reduce manual logistics operations.

Transportation Along Elevated Assembly Lines

The robot operates together with elevated assembly systems, synchronizing the positions of vehicle bodies, operators, and supporting equipment at each production stage.

Precision Docking with Supporting Mechanisms

The positioning assistance mechanism enables the robot to dock with fixtures, assembly stations, and process equipment with an accuracy of up to ±3 mm.

Diagonal Movement for Route Optimization

Omnidirectional and diagonal movement capabilities help shorten travel distances, optimize available floor space, and improve operating efficiency.

Key Features

Flexible Production Operation

  • Shortens production line construction time without requiring pre-embedded equipment or floor excavation, helping reduce approximately 30% of construction costs.
  • Supports coordinated control of multiple AMRs according to production requirements.
  • Automatically adjusts the lifting stroke according to the operating height required at each process and workstation.
  • Supports connection with upper-level systems and process equipment for real-time production data exchange.

Assembly Line Space Optimization

  • Optimizes equipment layout and enables continuous circulation throughout the assembly line.
  • Allows production routes to be configured according to the factory layout and actual space conditions.

Mixed-Model Vehicle Production Support

  • Supports mixed-model production lines and rapid switching between vehicle models with different wheelbase configurations.
  • Automatically adjusts assembly tasks, helping reduce inventory costs and the space required for semi-finished product storage.
  • Supports safety signal interlocking with process equipment on the production line.

Flexible and Easily Changeable Routes

  • Supports switching between guidance tape, 2D barcode, L-SLAM, and V-SLAM navigation methods.
  • Allows the number of workstations to be adjusted when the number of AMRs or production cycle changes.
  • Supports transportation of fixtures and lightweight equipment along the assembly line.
  • Different operating speeds can be configured according to the requirements of each production process.

High Maintainability

  • Core components are developed by Hikrobot and use a modular design that has undergone durability testing.
  • The robot can be quickly removed from the production line using dedicated transfer equipment in the event of a failure.
  • Backup equipment can be provided for replacement when an individual unit encounters a failure, helping minimize production interruptions.
